BaconKing Korean BBQ, Balestier
A Korean BBQ restaurant at Balestier Plaza with a dark, moody look. We added 9 wine-red acoustic panels that match the brand colours and calm the noise of a busy grill night.

The problem
BBQ nights are loud: sizzling grills, extractor fans and big groups. The dark painted walls and hard tables bounced the noise around, so diners had to shout.
What we installed
We fitted 8 large wine-red fabric acoustic panels in a row along the long side wall at head height. The colour matches the red feature wall, so they look like part of the design.
During the install, the manager asked if the wall would look too full on one side. We did a quick video call to show the layout. The panels sat evenly, so the wall stayed balanced.
We had made 2 spare panels in case the room needed more. One fitted a beam perfectly, so we put it there for a neater look. The job was done in a morning, before opening, with the building's security on site.
The result
The dining room is calmer and groups can talk without shouting over the grills. The panels look like part of the restaurant's design.
