Drone Training Centre, Grantral Mall
A drone training and esports centre in Grantral Mall. We fitted navy blue acoustic panels on the walls and door to calm the noise from drones, music and coaching, with no drilling.

The problem
Drones are loud, and so are teams cheering. The room has a glossy epoxy floor, white walls, a long run of windows and an open ceiling, so noise built up and made it hard to coach or talk.
The team asked if the windows needed panels too, since the main drone cage sits along them.
What we installed
After the site visit, we sent a short video walk-through, 3D visuals, and product details. The panels are fire-rated and safe for commercial spaces. We also showed the before and after sound the centre could expect.
We explained that the windows were not the main cause of the echo, and they are hard to cover. Panels on the walls lower the build-up of sound in the whole room. One wall had a full-length cabinet, so we moved those panels to other open wall and door space in the 3D plan, with the same number of panels and the same effect.
The centre chose navy blue to match the furniture. We fitted the tall panels with no drilling, in about 2 to 3 hours, around the class schedule. We had made one extra panel, and the centre chose to add it to the office door.
The result
Early feedback from the centre was good. They have had no complaints about noise with music playing during office hours, and plan to check again during a full drone soccer session.
