Thickness

Deep porous bass treatment designed to reduce low-frequency buildup, modal ringing, and long decay times in studios and critical listening rooms.

Made to order. Typical production is 3-4 weeks after size, finish, placement, and installation requirements are confirmed.
Depth / thickness: 15 cm Studio / 30 cm Maxx Standard size: 120 x 60 cm Available sizes: Standard
Self-install: Panels are supplied for your own installation. Professional installation: Just Acoustics installs the panels. Final access requirements are reviewed before payment.
Studio: two layers of rockwool in a 15 cm deep absorptive build. Maxx: four layers of rockwool in a 30 cm build with an internal air gap. Both use an acoustically transparent fabric finish. Final fire and building-management requirements are confirmed before production.
Most acoustic products are made to order. We confirm dimensions, colours, and installation requirements before production so the final order matches your room and use case.

Indicative Reference Performance

Control The Low End Below 200 Hz

Greater depth and a built-in air gap help the Maxx version work further into the low end, while the Studio version is a practical starting point for upper-bass control.

Indicative comparison based on comparable published bass-trap construction and thickness guidance. This is not a Just Acoustics laboratory test report; actual results vary with room, placement, coverage, and installation.

What does Hz mean?

A quick guide to what you hear

Hz measures pitch: lower numbers are deeper sounds, while higher numbers are brighter and sharper.

40-80 Hz

Sub-bass weight

Deep lows from subwoofers, kick fundamentals, and room modes.

80-160 Hz

Kick and bass punch

Where low-end impact can become boomy or linger too long.

160-250 Hz

Low-mid buildup

Excess energy here can make mixes feel muddy and crowded.
